Rolls-Royce 103EX Will Let You Drive A Car Without Driving At All

The Rolls-Royce 103EX is just a concept car, so… yeah, not yet buyable. But it’s a peek into what Rolls-Royce plans for 2035, which is pretty cool in itself.

I mean, if they ever make a car even remotely like this, I’d be first in line to empty my wallet for it! Let’s check out what the 103EX is all about!

The Interior Sounds Unreal

Rolls Royce is planning a futuristic oasis with its upcoming projects. At least, that’s what I can see from this insane 103EX concept!

The interior clearly defines modern luxury. Can you imagine sitting back on a plush silk-upholstered couch with your feet sinking into the hand-twisted, gorgeous carpeting? It’s not even a car anymore, man.

That’s basically a 4-star hotel on wheels, and I would be the first one to jump into it if this concept ever came true!

The lack of a standard steering wheel is another bold move that speaks volumes about the brand’s vision.

It seems all the mobility functions would be gracefully managed by the Spirit of Ecstasy, fondly nicknamed “Eleanor.” You can say she’s a digital assistant who, with her amazing artificial intelligence, would predict your EVERY need along the road.

I’m usually a big fan of vintage cars, but I would be lying if I said I didn’t wait every day for this big AI upgrade to happen.

I mean, have you seen what free apps like ChatGPT 4.0 and Gemini can do? I believe big brands like Rolls Royce can take the AI game to a whole new, mind-blowing level.

A large entertainment screen, installed neatly beneath the car’s waistline, would face the driver’s seat.

It is (would be) where I could catch up on the latest news, stream my favorite 80s songs, or simply enjoy the ride while staying connected with others on the Internet.

I thought only advanced technology would cover the entire interior.

Yet, Roll Royce surprised me by throwing a standard analog clock into the mix — an unexpected but welcomed old-world charm among all the fancy inventions!

Rolls-Royce 103EX – Amazing Customization Choices AND More

The 103EX would ride on a refined, light electric platform (not unlike the GM’s 2002 “skateboard”) to truly redefine personalization for future cars.

As if that idea didn’t already sound jaw-dropping enough, Rolls Royce proposes another crazy idea (in a good way): the ability to customize not just the color and materials but also the SIZE, SEATING CAPACITY, and even the car’s SHAPE!

I would have laughed at the idea if it was 10 years ago – when I still had to smack the steering wheel of my old truck to get it moving – but now, given all the advanced technology development, that is totally possible.

It seems Rolls-Royce is trying to bring back the era of vintage, bespoke coachbuilding, where each vehicle is tailored to its owner’s exact needs and desires instead of all the industrial manufacturing we are familiar with today.

Plus, the side-hinged, single-piece panoramic roof is another HUGE draw for me.

My back is in a lot of pain these days, you know, so I like that I can now stand up to my full height before exiting the car through its rear-hinged doors. The whole experience feels much more theater-like that way, too.

And if you are already shaking your head and claiming all these features would consume too much power and destroy the environment?

No worries, I have great news: alternative power sources like hydrogen are totally in the picture! Trust me when I say Rolls-Royce clearly knows what it’s doing.

It’s a HUGE Electric Giant

“Gigantic” doesn’t even begin to describe the 103EX; it’s a true titan on wheels, stretching over 19 feet long! Plus the massive front end that seems to go on forever, PLUS the enormous, half-hidden wheels — boy, what an entrance it would make.

The grilles are classic Rolls-Royce, tall and commanding. They lead into a car body that floats among fully surrounded front wheels that gleam as they turn.

The sleek lines and squinty headlamps (surprisingly) give the whole thing a look of understated charm despite its sheer size, while the mirrored hood offers breathtaking panoramic views that make me feel like I would be gliding through the air.

But what gets me most excited is under the hood (or, rather, where the hood used to be). With no traditional engine, there’s space for customizable luggage that slides out effortlessly for the valets to handle.

Electric motors power both the rear and front wheels, further embracing the rising trend of sustainable mobility. I seriously can’t wait.

The (Non-Existent) Driving Experience

Many have asked me what it’s like to be behind the wheel of the Rolls-Royce 103EX.

But here’s the thing: this concept car is all about autonomous technology, which means you wouldn’t be driving it yourself.

There would be no steering wheel or pedals — just pure relaxation! Thanks to the electric powertrain and advanced suspension system, the entire ride would be bumpless while Eleanor, the ever-talented AI assistant, steps up to cater to your every whim.

Of course, with such a future-shaping design, Rolls-Royce 103EX would set you back a fortune. Some official sources reveal its listing price will be £1.8million or nearly $2.3 million. Definitely not destined for everyday people by any means!

The Last Words

Rolls-Royce 103EX is everyone’s dream come true, and it’s not just some wild fan-made concept; the brand ITSELF put it out there. I’m betting all my money that something like the 103EX will hit the roads real soon. What do you think? Tell me!
